*The Odyssey* has become the top-earning title ever shown on the United Kingdom’s largest cinema screen, the BFI IMAX in London. According to the venue’s own reporting, more than 101,000 tickets have been sold, generating £2,683,987 in gross revenue from a single screen. The film’s occupancy rate sits at 95 % across all current showtimes, and it has remained sold out for weeks, with advance tickets described as “almost impossible to obtain.”

The BFI IMAX, measuring 26 metres wide by nearly 20 metres high (about 280 square metres), is the UK’s biggest cinema screen—roughly the height of five double-decker buses. *The Odyssey* is the first feature shot entirely with IMAX film cameras and is presented from a rare 70 mm IMAX print, allowing audiences to experience the director’s intended visual format.

Other Nolan works—including *Oppenheimer* (2023) and *Dunkirk* (2017)—also rank among the top ten, but none have matched *The Odyssey*’s total gross.
