Plot Premise
Returning as Florida “fixer-turned-detective” Andrew Yancy (Vince Vaughn), the series picks up after Yancy witnesses the murder of the state’s top fixer. An ambitious state attorney pairs him with a strait-laced forensic accountant to investigate the killing. Their probe drags Yancy into a turf war between rival criminal organizations, while he navigates a cast of Florida oddballs—including an erudite mob boss, the boss’s unhinged son, and a hard-edged young woman seeking protection. Subplots involve Yancy’s aging father, lingering romantic tension with Dr. Rosa Campensino (Natalie Martinez), and a bombastic animal-relocation specialist whose business threatens the local environment.
