Police Adopt Auditing Tool
- U.S. law enforcement agencies must use Flock Safety’s auditing tool that flags behavior and links searches to case codes starting January 1.
- Flock will cut data-retention period from 30 days to seven days, though evidence can be kept longer.
- At least fifty officers have been charged with or accused of misusing Flock cameras, many allegedly stalking women.
- The ACLU says safeguards are insufficient because police, not judges, usually control system access.
