Yorkshire Fishermen Land
- Yorkshire fishermen landed two bluefin tuna, the first North Sea catches since 1939.
- The first tuna weighed 338 kg (746 lb) and was hauled aboard the Dominator A on 19 August 2026.
- A second tuna, estimated at 310 kg (683 lb), was landed a day later by Clive Easton.
- Dr. Lucy Hawkes of the University of Exeter said the return reflects careful fisheries management and warmer sea temperatures.
