Little League Baseball® announced that prolonged inclement weather in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, forced the postponement of all games originally set for Thursday, August 20. The decision followed consultation with the tournament’s grounds crew and was intended to ensure a safe and optimal playing environment for the participating teams.
Revised Friday Schedule
The organization released an updated lineup for Friday, August 21 at Volunteer and Lamade Stadiums. The day’s matchups are:
- 9 a.m. – Australia (visiting) vs. Mexico (home) – Volunteer Stadium
- 9 a.m. – Great Lakes (visiting) vs. Mountain (home) – Lamade Stadium
- 12 p.m. – Japan (visiting) vs. Curaçao (home) – Volunteer Stadium
- 12 p.m. – West (visiting) vs. Midwest (home) – Lamade Stadium
- 3 p.m. – Latin America (visiting) vs. Panama (home) – Volunteer Stadium
- 3 p.m. – Northwest (visiting) – Southwest (home) – Lamade Stadium
- 6 p.m. – Asia-Pacific (visiting) vs. Europe and Africa (home) – Volunteer Stadium

Broadcast Adjustments
ESPN confirmed that Games 5 and 6, now slated for the morning of August 21, will not be televised and no replays will be offered. Information about network coverage for Games 7 through 12 will be posted on Little League’s official website and the World Series app once finalized.
Fan-Experience Changes
To accommodate the revised schedule, the complex will open to the public at 8 a.m. on Friday.
