Wrexham’s Transfer Plans as the Summer Window Nears Its Close

Wrexham AFC entered the final ten days of the 2026 summer transfer window after a 1–1 home draw with Watford that left the club winless in the Championship. The club has so far added three players—wing-back Imray, midfielder Ben Whiteman and goalkeeper Anthony Patterson—at a reported cost of £16 million ($21.8 million). Parkinson confirmed that the club hopes to sign additional “difference-making” players, ideally a centre-back and an attacker, before the deadline on September 1, 2026.
