Timeline of the Attacks
On Monday night, police received an initial call just before 7:30 p.m. reporting a stabbing in Cesar Chavez Park on 38th Avenue. A second victim was located nearby at 38th Avenue and San Leandro Street. While officers were responding, BART police alerted them to a third stabbing near the Fruitvale BART station.
