Operational Design and Logistics

Hermes uses Auriga’s electromagnetic launch technology, the same principle employed in the company’s Prometheus hypersonic test system, to accelerate low-cost munitions without chemical propellants. The container houses internal batteries that power the launcher, while onboard solar panels recharge the batteries during operation.
