Ferry Passengers Passport
- Starting Monday, 28 September 2026, ferry passengers traveling between Britain and the Republic of Ireland must show a passport or passport card.
- The requirement applies to every passenger, regardless of age or nationality.
- The rule does not cover ferries that sail via Belfast, Liverpool, Cairnryan or Heysham.
- Stena Line and Irish Ferries are notifying booked customers of the new ID rule.
