Fatal Truck Crash Cancels J. Cole’s Sacramento Concert

Early on August 27, a big-rig hauling concert equipment for rapper J. Cole overturned on southbound Interstate 5 in Yolo County, northwest of Woodland. The crash blocked all lanes just south of County Road 95. California Highway Patrol (CHP) confirmed the driver, the sole occupant, died at the scene. The accident prompted the Golden 1 Center to cancel J. Cole’s scheduled performance that night.
