Hyundai Unveils Global D-Segment Electric SUV and Plans 2027 EREV Launches Amid Aggressive 2030 Growth Drive

At the 2026 CEO Investor Day, Hyundai Motor Company president and CEO José Muñoz presented a covered prototype of a new D-segment electric SUV positioned between the IONIQ 5 and the Santa Fe. The model will be built on Hyundai’s full-stack software-defined vehicle (SDV) platform and is slated for launch in Phase II of the company’s product roadmap.
