Dolly Downgraded
- The National Hurricane Center downgraded Tropical Storm Dolly to an open tropical wave on Aug. 28, 2026.
- The NHC said Dolly has near-zero chance of redevelopment for 48 hours and a 20% chance in seven days.
- Meteorologists warned heavy rain and gusty winds could affect Leeward Islands, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Hispaniola.
