The first set of reports arrived at approximately 12:42 a.m., indicating victims at the 300 blocks of Clay Street and Denny Way. A second incident was logged shortly before 2:00 a.m. near 3rd Avenue and Blanchard Street, where a woman was found inside a parked vehicle with gunshot wounds to the head and torso.
Victims and Injuries
The first incident resulted in the death of a man who was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition and later pronounced dead. Two additional individuals—a man and a woman—were taken to the same hospital in serious condition; both survived. In the second incident, the woman in the vehicle was taken to Harborview in critical condition and died despite lifesaving efforts. Police also reported three other people wounded in the first shooting, though their conditions were not detailed beyond being treated at the hospital.
