Young added a floater on the next possession, and Chelsea Gray’s pull-up with 1:07 remaining extended the cushion. Italy answered with a quick two-pointer, narrowing the margin to 55-52. A missed US shot followed by Young’s rebound allowed the United States to run out the clock.
