Pablo Larraín’s Netflix Horror Miniseries “My Sad Dead” Set for September Release

Netflix’s upcoming four-part miniseries My Sad Dead follows Ema, a retired doctor haunted by grief after her mother’s death. She can see and speak with the dead, a ability that spirals when her niece Julie arrives and three local teenagers are murdered. The series will compete at the San Sebastian Film Festival later this month before its streaming debut.

The psychological horror is adapted from stories by acclaimed Argentine author Mariana Enriquez. Chilean director Pablo Larraín helms the project through his production company Fabula.
