On Feb 26 1993 Ramzi Yousef’s van bomb killed six and injured more than 1,000 at the World Trade Center, prompting new evacuation procedures and, after the 2001 attacks, the creation of the Department of Homeland Security and TSA. Today the New York City Council allocates $1 million for museum trips, while artists Robert Carley and Gila Bend display recovered steel.
