Germany Boosts Patriot Air-Defense Support for Ukraine Ahead of Winter

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced that Germany will transfer PAC-2 interceptor missiles for the U.S.–made Patriot system from Bundeswehr stockpiles to Ukraine before the winter fighting season, when Russian missile strikes on energy infrastructure are expected to intensify.
