Joshua Cammidge, 31, was charged with assisting Russia’s GRU Volunteer Corps to sabotage UK drone factories.
Between 27 March and 5 September he sent Google Maps screenshots of four Swindon drone sites.
He also supplied operational details about one specific factory’s activities.
Counter-terrorism police and Wiltshire officers arrested Cammidge at a Swindon address last Friday.
The case was transferred to the Old Bailey with a hearing scheduled for 25 September.
