After cross-posting the clip to Facebook, Meta’s AI chatbot displayed a suggested prompt reading “Who is the child passenger?” When Robins selected the prompt, the system produced a response that identified both daughters, disclosed their ages, and referenced birth announcements and other family posts. Subsequent prompts asked for the children’s favorite books, beaches, and even the family’s likely residence, assembling a dossier from years of content posted by Robins and her relatives.

Meta has integrated its AI assistant across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger, allowing it to answer questions, draft posts, and generate images. The same AI previously powered a deep-fake creation tool that Meta removed in July after widespread backlash.
