- Leaders of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland signed a joint memorandum of understanding in Cardiff on Monday 14 September 2026.
- The pact was framed as a democratic claim that Westminster cannot block the peoples’ right to decide their future.
- Polling: 47 % of Scots, 36 % of Northern Irish, 32 % of Welsh favor independence or reunification.
