The Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau’s Panyu branch said police arrived promptly, secured the scene, and transported the injured to hospital. A 35-year-old male suspect surnamed Li was apprehended inside the shopping centre where the assaults occurred. The bureau posted on social media that the case remains under further investigation.
