According to the 9to5Google report, Samsung’s announcement emphasizes that the “Gallery Cloud Sync” service will store media in Google Cloud, keep the Gallery identical across devices, and let users view photos instantly on tablets. The update also introduces a “Sync with Google” option within the app, where users can monitor available storage, select specific albums for sync, and set data-usage conditions. To activate the feature, both the “Gallery Cloud Sync” app and “Samsung Cloud” must be updated; existing OneDrive users will retain sync capability until September 30.
