Tesla will bring its purpose-built, two-seat Cybercab to a series of Tesla stores in Australia and New Zealand as a public display. The vehicle has no steering wheel or pedals and is intended solely as a preview of Tesla’s driverless-vehicle ambitions. Visitors will be able to inspect the Cybercab up close and, at the same locations, book supervised test drives of Full Self-Driving (FSD) in the Model 3 or Model Y. Tesla emphasizes that the tour is a “showcase, not a robotaxi launch,” and no public rides in the Cybercab are planned.

- September 21, 2026 (scheduled) – Tour launches in Sydney.
- October 2026 – Stops in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Canberra.
- November 2026 – Visits Melbourne and Adelaide.

Vehicle Features & Current Deployment
The Cybercab features dihedral doors, a compact two-passenger cabin, wireless inductive charging and a central display that replaces conventional controls. Its autonomous system relies on Tesla Vision, the camera-based AI also used in the Model 3 and Model Y. Tesla reports that 45 Cybercabs have been registered for limited passenger service in Austin, Texas, as part of its broader robotaxi fleet.
