NDA leaders, especially Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, flew to Varanasi and joined the launch, showing party unity.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off the yatra at 9:30 a.m.
The yatra will pass 193 districts, 1,159 villages.
Amit Shah said the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan will reach all constituencies.
