SpaceX launches Starship
- SpaceX plans to launch Starship into orbit on September 22, 2026.
- The upper stage will reach roughly 275 km, completing six orbits in about ten hours.
- The mission will deploy 26 Starlink V3 satellites, each weighing about 2,000 kg.
- After orbit, the upper stage will deorbit and splash down in the Pacific west of Chile.
- The Super Heavy booster will separate and splash down in the Gulf of Mexico without a tower catch.
