Interface Changes: Icons, Sections and Quick-Switch Controls
The update adds a pencil icon in the top-right corner of the contact page, providing instant entry to Google Contacts for editing. All action buttons now use outline-style icons, giving the UI a cleaner appearance. The “Local updates” card has been promoted to the top of the widget, while “Last connection” moves down, and the “Notes” section is now the final element after the removal of media and place recommendations. A new pill-shaped switcher displays all VIP contacts, enabling rapid switching without returning to the home screen. The widget preview also shows a “space for quick actions” that lets users call or message directly from the widget, though the full redesign is not yet live for all users.
