According to a document compiled by the Philadelphia Palestine Coalition (Philly Palestine Coalition (PPC)), Gann frequently referenced a Palestinian-born grandfather—later shown by draft records and naturalization papers to have been born in Baltimore—and claimed to send money to relatives in the occupied West Bank, despite her family residing in Israel.
