Cricut Unveils Two Compact Sticker-Making Machines

By Drooid · · How we work

New Product Lineup

Cricut has launched the StickerPix Print and the larger StickerPix Print + Cut as the company’s first all-in-one devices that combine printing, laminating and, for the larger model, cutting. Both machines are positioned as space-saving tools for home crafters, measuring roughly 8 × 5 × 4 inches for the Print and 8 × 11 × 4 inches for the Print + Cut. They are marketed as “mini-print shops” that can turn photos, logos or hand-drawn artwork into water-, scratch- and fade-resistant stickers.

Design and Printing Capabilities

The devices use dye-sublimation technology, which applies heat to transfer dye directly onto 4 × 6-inch photo paper or pre-cut 4 × 7-inch sticker sheets. This process produces fully laminated prints that emerge dry, eliminating the need for separate inkjet printers and laminate sheets. The StickerPix Print prints onto pre-cut circular, rectangular or square sticker sheets but cannot cut; the Print + Cut adds a built-in cutter that kiss-cuts custom shapes around each design, leaving stickers attached to a backing sheet for easy peeling. Both models operate through Cricut’s Design Space app on a phone or computer and may require a Cricut Access subscription for additional templates and discounts.

Pricing, Bundles and Consumables

Cricut lists the StickerPix Print at $169 and the StickerPix Print + Cut at $299. Each machine ships in an “Essential Bundle” that includes an ink cartridge (54 prints for the Print, 36 prints for the Print + Cut), assorted pre-cut sticker sheets, glossy photo paper, a material tray, power adapter and a trial of Cricut Access. Additional consumables—extra ink cartridges and sticker sheets—are sold separately.

Intended Users and Practical Uses

The company markets the machines to a broad audience: hobbyists who label spice jars or craft-room storage, small-business owners running Etsy shops or market stalls, and illustrators who want to produce custom stickers for conventions. The ability to batch-print logos, QR codes, price tags or packaging seals makes the devices appealing for low-volume commercial labeling, while the built-in cutter of the Print + Cut expands creative possibilities beyond the predefined shapes of Cricut’s existing sticker sheets.
