Gallup Socialism Gains
- Gallup reports 43% of U.S. adults now view socialism favorably.
- Support among independents rose to 45%, an eight-point increase since 2025.
- Adults aged 18-34 gave socialism its highest favorability at 57%.
- Positive views of big business fell to 35%, down from 58% in 2012.
- Approval of free-enterprise ideas dropped to 77% from nearly 90% previously.
