Story summary
- On 26 September 1968 the Beatles finished recording John Lennon’s “Happiness Is a Warm Gun,” the track each member later called their favourite from the double-album The Beatles (the White Album). Written by Lennon, the title came from an American Rifleman article and the lyrics fuse gun imagery with sexual innuendo.
