U.S. President Donald Trump told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that Ukraine will receive a U.S. license to produce Patriot missile interceptors.
The United States proposed three-way technical talks among Ukraine, Russia and the United Arab Emirates, suggesting the UAE host the meeting.
Ukraine holds roughly ten percent of the interceptors it estimates necessary for its air defence.
The European Union will extend its financial aid programme for Ukraine.

Zelensky asked Trump to urge Chinese President Xi Jinping to use Beijing’s influence over Moscow to end the invasion.
The sanctions bill signed by Trump has not yet been enacted, Zelensky said.
Russia continued drone and missile attacks on Kyiv, killing a 14-year-old boy and injuring civilians.
