Julie St-Arnaud-Drolet, a spokesperson for Élections Québec, noted that advance polling is gaining traction, with one-third of the 66 percent of eligible voters who cast ballots in the 2022 election doing so early. Despite this growth, the number of advance-polling stations remains roughly a quarter of those available on election day, leading to longer lines that counter the perception of faster voting. St-Arnaud-Drolet encouraged voters who can to attend on election day to alleviate congestion.
