The mosque’s mutawalli (caretaker), Zubair, lodged a complaint with the Senior Superintendent of Police, requesting action and urging officials to preserve peace. Earlier, construction on the mosque’s upper floor was halted about a month ago after local traders filed a separate complaint.

Bhosale emphasized that maintaining law and order is the priority and warned that no individual would be permitted to take the law into their own hands. Police have appealed to residents to remain calm, disregard unverified rumours, and cooperate with the heightened security arrangements.
