Applicants must be legally single, hold a Singpass account, and be 21-35 years old. Applications close at 11:59 p.m. on October 5. The service is limited to civil servants; the general public cannot join. After a match, participants may complete a “Date Quest” to earn a voucher, provided they submit a selfie and redemption form. Users can deactivate accounts and request data removal, and GovTech says personal data follows government security standards and will not be monetised.
Demographic Context
According to the articles, Singapore’s birth rate has hit a record low, prompting the government to roll out financial incentives, expanded parental leave, and public-housing reforms.
