Ford Restores Production
- Ford CEO Jim Farley said a supplier issue halted F-150 production and output is restored.
- The problem stopped production at Dearborn Truck Plant and Kansas City F-150 plant last week.
- Farley clarified the issue is unrelated to earlier aluminum shortages caused by Novelis fires.
- The snag hurt third-quarter wholesale numbers and pushed Ford shares down about 2%.
- Ford’s F-Series sales fell 11% year over year through August.
