Met Police Submits Charges
- Metropolitan Police submitted charging files to the Crown Prosecution Service for the 2017 Grenfell fire.
- Proposed charges include corporate manslaughter and gross negligence manslaughter and health-and-safety offences and fraud and misconduct in public office.
- The Met supplied 12,600 pages and 14,700 statements and 27,000 exhibits compiled by 220 investigators over nine years.
- CPS head Frank Ferguson said prosecutors will decide charges before the 10th anniversary on June 14 2027.
