Guardian Launches Digital Scheme
- The Guardian is launching 40 digital journalism positions under its Digital Journalist Scheme.
- The roles are 18-month fixed-term contracts paying £48,000 annually.
- Selected journalists will start in London’s newsroom in January 2027 and receive multi-media training.
- Creative Access manages applications, requiring two to three years’ experience; deadline is Thursday 8 October.
- Training includes audio, video, photography, text and audience engagement, with at least 20% spent on a Level 3 apprenticeship.
