History

Historical Context

In 1995-96 Michael Jordan returned to Chicago, leading the Bulls to a league-record 72-10 regular season and a championship that sparked global brand growth. The 2024 free-agent signing of LeBron James by the Philadelphia 76ers echoes that model, as teams now count on marquee stars to drive jersey sales and ticket demand.
