History

Historical Context

In 1995, under coach John Cooper, Ohio State wide receiver Terry Glenn broke the school’s single-season receiving yardage record with 1,411 yards, propelling the Buckeyes to an 11-2 campaign and a Citrus Bowl berth. His breakout followed a run-heavy era featuring backs like Eddie George, establishing a receiver legacy that 2024’s Jeremiah Smith’s record-setting start continues.
