History

Historical Context

After relocating from Seattle in 1970 and enduring a 29-year playoff drought, the Brewers returned in 2018, winning a 3-0 NLDS sweep of the Rockies after a tie-breaker win over the Cubs. Building on that pitching-focused success, rookie Jacob Misiorowski set a postseason record with a 104.8 mph fastball in the 2024 NLDS opener, underscoring the franchise’s long-term reliance on elite arms.
