History

Historical Context

Alleged captured his second Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on 1 October 1978 at Longchamp, becoming the sixth horse to win the 2,400-metre race twice. Over four decades later, Daryz repeated the feat in 2024, the first colt since Alleged to secure back-to-back victories, prompting the Aga Khan Stud to consider limiting future campaigns.
