Jobs Displays Affection

Ron Johnson says he first suggested the “loving your customers” mantra during Apple’s early retail planning.
Steve Jobs initially balked at the word “love” but later displayed it on an iPhone 4 “antennagate” slide.
The slide read “We love our users,” marking a shift toward explicit customer affection.
Critics argue that simplifying products differs from truly enriching users’ lives, a distinction Jobs emphasized.
