Trump warns Midterm Surprise

U.S. President Donald Trump told audience in Maryland on Tuesday night that he and OMB director Russ Vought have “big surprises” planned.
Because the OMB controls budgeting but not state elections, the “big surprise” involves spending or agency changes, reflecting Vought’s role in Project 2025.
Vought, who leads OMB, helped design Heritage Foundation-backed Project 2025 plan proposing agency reforms.
Trump posted on Truth Social urging followers to “Watch for the ‘Midterm Surprise!’”.
