Trump Calls Fox Host Jessica Tarlov a “Loser” During Nebraska Rally

During a roughly 90-minute campaign appearance in Nebraska, President Donald Trump labeled Fox News host Jessica Tarlov a “loser.” The comment came amid broader attacks on media outlets, including criticism of CNN, MSNBC and Fox’s coverage of Michigan Democrat Abdul El-Sayed, who is running for the U.S. Senate. Trump’s remarks were delivered hours before the rally and were part of a larger tirade that also referenced other female reporters he previously called “fake news.”

Trump’s focus on Tarlov fits a pattern of repeated disparagement. Tarlov, a former pollster and Democratic strategist, has frequently appeared on Fox programs such as *The Five* and *The Story*, where she discussed polling data that suggested Trump’s popularity had fallen to historic lows for a Republican president.

The Daily Beast reached out to Fox News for comment on Trump’s remarks; the network has not provided a response. Tarlov herself posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the president’s attacks forced her to reflect on the substance of her work, saying the criticism highlighted her “substance” over “style.”
