History

Historical Context

In 1995–96 Manchester United, under Sir Alex Ferguson, turned a poor start into a league title, sealing it with a 3-0 win at Middlesbrough on the final day and completing a second double. That comeback, driven by Eric Cantona’s goals, set a pattern of early-season pressure spurring revival—today United face similar stakes against Tottenham while coping with injuries.
