History

Historical Context

In 2014, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant returned from a torn ACL to post a 1,000-yard receiving season, helping Dallas reach the playoffs. Bryant caught 71 passes for 1,025 yards and six touchdowns across 13 games, proving his rigorous rehabilitation program highly effective. Similarly, Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh announced that Malik Nabers, who logged six catches for 112 yards and a touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals, will suit up versus the Washington Commanders despite a knee. Bryant’s comeback illustrated that elite receivers can regain form after ACL surgery, implying Nabers could impact the Ravens’ playoff push if cleared.
