Mullin Launches Surge
- DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin announced Operation Rotten Apple, a month-long Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) surge in New York.
- The operation produced more than 2,100 arrests, including murderers, rapists, pedophiles, drug traffickers and violent assailants.
- ICE arrests rose 68% from May to July, increasing from 922 to 1,552 detainees.
