History

Historical Context

After the SEC fined Texas $250,000 for debris in the October 2024 game, the league has intensified penalties, now proposing $100,000-$500,000 fines for Kentucky fans after the Kroger Field invasion. This mirrors a broader rise in sanctions, from the 2001 NFL Bottlegate arrests to the 1995 snowball bans, showing tighter stadium security across American sports.
