History

Historical Context

On February 3, 2008 the New York Giants won Super Bowl XLII, finishing a season in which injuries placed many players on reserve lists yet depth allowed two 1,000-yard rushers (Jacobs 1,089; Ward 1,025). The Washington Commanders point to that 2008 injury-driven resilience as they adjust limited snaps for Terry McLaurin and the return of Jayden Daniels.
