History

Historical Context

The Packers-Bears rivalry, dating to 1921, is the NFL’s most-played matchup; a ten-game winning streak from 1994-1998 helped Green Bay seize the series lead in 2022. After the Packers captured the 1995 NFC Central title and Favre earned MVP honors, the 2024 Week 5 clash saw LaFleur and Johnson spar as Love threw for 367 yards, keeping the rivalry central to NFC North playoff battles.
